Currently the only person i really play knows me far to well and always beats me cause he gets in my head way too easy. The question then becomes how do you get past this i have only been able to get past this. In my mechwarrior days when i would run my violator army with a healy box tactic and only when i could truly focus on just the game and nothing else. I had called this my overdrive mode. but since the death of this game i was unable to find the trigger unit for this. in mechwarrior it was obviously the violator medium mech and to top it off i was trying to figure out how to consciously trigger this state in the game's death throws which cut my research short. I finally took the plunge and entered a GT. The Indy GT. It was a fun weekend. 4 games on the first day was a grueling new experience for me. I finished 3-3 officially, but it should have been 4-2. That's my own fault for not paying attention to how scores should be calculated. I usually don't give much of a crap about the bigger picture, and it cost me. My 3 favorite things of the weekend were: 1. The ork player who showed up at the table, looked at my army and said, "Black Templars... I can handle them." Having taken on a painting commission, what I will call 'Army Makeover, Paint 'Till I'm Crosseyed Edition,' I don't have much time for frippery...
