UPDATED: 2011 Midwest Massacre

Okay, as many of you know, the Midwest Massacre has been in flux. We apologize for this and for any inconvenience that may be caused by this post. The reason for the lack of information is that, due to circumstances beyond our control we've been forced to change both the date and location. I won't go into the reasons publicly, but I will be willing to give anyone that PMs me the full run down on why this will no longer be held at the KC Game Fair.

That out of the way, here is what we know.

Registration will begin at 9:00 am, and run until 9:45. Round 1 will begin at 10:00 am sharp. A full schedule will be posted soon.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend now due to the date change. I'll be in Cedar Rapids for a debate tournament. The previous weekend was perfect because it was the one weekend I have off between the end of October through December to get a tournament in.

That's not a complaint - I'm guessing some no-fun drama went down to cause the change. I just wanted to say I'm sorry I won't be able to make it - I was excited to come down to your event and support it after the strong showing you guys had up at the Bugeater GT this year. I'll keep watching for other FRAG events to attend, but sadly I'll have to sit this one out.

what's up with the price increase--are we mirroring gw? 20 seems a little steep...

The price increase for the tournament itself reflects the fact that we have to pay for the venue ourselves now. In reality though, entry to the tournament is cheaper than it would have been by $10. Instead of having to pay $15 to get in the tournament and another $15 to get into the KC Game Fair, it's now a one time fee of $20 to cover the whole thing.

So that I can avoid extra PMs on how to send me lists, it can be done in two ways. The first being to simply type it out and send it to me either in a PM here on the forum, or in an email to Derek@frostreaver.net. Alternatively you can create it in Army Builder, and convert it to a text document and copy that into a pm or attach it to an email to me.
