Default FRAG presents the Midwest Massacre Warhammer 40K Tournament at KC Game Fair

FRAG is proud to present the Midwest Massacre, a 32 player Warhammer 40K Tournament at the KC Game Fair, on Sat Nov 21st. The tournament will use the following guidelines:

1750 point Warhammer 40K Tournament Rules:

Armies must be constructed using one Force Organization Chart to a maximum of 1750 points. 1749 is OK, but 1751 will get you DQ'd. All armies must be created from a single Codex. No allies, Imperial Armor, Chapter Approved or White Dwarf lists or units will be allowed.

FRAG FAQ's will be used for this event the full list of links to completed FRAG FAQ's can be found here: FRAG FAQ's

Bring at least 3 copies of your army list with you, one to turn in to the staff, one for your opponent to look at, and one for yourself. Please make sure all army lists are built using an army list building program or typed out in Word or something similar. Hand written lists are hard for everyone to read, so please take the time to type it out.

All models must be WYSIWYG. While small items like grenades and such can be overlooked, primary weapons should be represented on the model itself. While models do not have to be painted to participate, they must be assembled. Counts As models will be allowed, but they must be representative of the model and mounted on the appropriate base size. If there is any question about whether or not your model will be legal for use, please send a picture of the model to admin@frostreaver.net for approval before the event. We wouldn’t want anyone showing up and then not being able to play with their models.

The tournament pairings will be random for the first round, and follow a Swiss system after that, with each player facing the person closest to them in the rankings system, as long as those two people have not played each other previously in the tournament. This tournament will not include sportsmanship or painting scores, it will be based on Battle Points alone to determine a winner.

The Tournament time schedule will work as follows:

Everyone playing in the tournament must be signed in no later than 9am. No one will be allowed to register after that time.

Players will have 1 hour and 45 minutes to complete the game. Players will be notified when there are 30 minutes left and again when there are 10 minutes left. No new turns should be started after the 10 minute warning.
