The Midwest Massacre Tournament is officially open to the public for registration. You will need to have a FrostReaver.net account to purchase an entry to the Midwest Massacre online. You may come to the tournament on the day of and pay at the door in cash to a FrostReaver.net tournament judge, but pre-registration is a guarantee of your seat.

Ok, questions:

The rules say codex armies, no allies. Does that pertain to Daemonhunters with regards to IG or Marines, since they are listed in the codex specifically?

Additionally, if that is the case, what guidelines are there for those allies, since both IG and Marines have had Codex updates since the DH went into print? The DH FRAG FAQ says "see if the IG FAQ." I couldn't find a FRAG one, and the GW one doesn't have anything in it. I'd suggest the Ard Boyz guidelines personally, since it was GW produced.

I just got some super cheap IG and now I think I can get to 1750 in Hunters with enough Guard allies...

Attendence questionable. My wife has surgery on the thursday before the tourney. So unless she is able to move and function i won't be making it.

Is there a way to see how many spots are still available?

There are still spots available, but registrations have begun. Guarantee your seat by registering as soon as you can. You may register online via Paypal or Credit Card.

We will make an announcement if all the seats fill up.

My little group is looking at doing something that weekend, but we haven't figured out which day yet. So I'm hesitant to register just yet.

My tournament experience is limited, but I think the 1:45 rounds can work especially since they have set aside a 30 minute set up and deployment time. At the Big Waaagh we had 2 hours rounds, but that included reading the mission, set up and deployment. I was able to finish all of my games and in one we were able to get through turn 7.
